Roles and Responsibilities:
The Program Manager strives to successfully manage, for the customer and KEG, programs from launch to completion through a coordinated team effort in support of the KEG Customer Program management Process. High Level Statement of the Role A Program Manager will lead efforts internally and externally to support successful NPI project launches, variable cost productivity programs, and improvements in the communications chain. Program Managers will work with the team to meet the customer expectations and work for continuous improvement of new NPI projects and sustaining products in production. High Level Roles & Responsibilities -Work with the identified Business Manager to meet and exceed customer expectations and to generate targeted EP -Responsible for communication with the customer and KEG employees of expectations and requirements -Responsible for decisions on project processes, customer engineering changes, and technologies to be used -Responsible for selecting, development and tasking of project team members for continuous improvement, leading variable cost productivity projects -Compile and communicate staffing requirements needed to complete the project -Responsible to operate project to quoted budget and be aware of variances and to develop alternatives to meet budget targets -Review and provide feedback to the quoting process on quotes and re-quotes -Buffer between internal and external customers -Responsible for the successful launch of project -Facilitate KEG interdepartmental communications -Knowledge of project material status and issues -Lead NPI teams using the adopted KEG Global process and tools
